On our way to Triacastela

The weather wasn’t very cooperative today. Started out foggy, a little sun, and then rain the rest of the day. Makes for a muddy trail as you can see! Statue is the pilgrim statue. I left a painted stone I made for Brian at the base of the statue.

One of my favorite parts of today

I loved seeing these cattle being moved to another pasture with the help of the border collie. He’s trying hard to keep them in line!

We ran into several cats and dogs today. Not sure the exact breed but certainly a Shepard dog (possibly a Kangal?) Look at the size of those paws! Also photo from the trail with views of our last stop for the day as we are approaching Triacastela for the night.

Dinner and a place to rest. The green beans and potatoes were excellent and comfort food. Flan Chocolate for dessert. Dinners have been included with the room package most nights. It is usually a 3 course meal for pilgrims with wine or aqua included. Menus to show the options. The accommodations have been excellent so far. No frills but clean and comfy. Time for bed!
